This happened earlier today, 2011/06/24, around the 427 area by Sherway.
(Specifically, the Canadian Tire on Queensway and The East Mall).

They broke into his car and stole a low-profile jack (red/silver) and tokico
shocks.

His friends saw 2 vehicles "speeding away" from his car:
> White DA integra with halo lights and gold 17" (ish) rims
> Blue RSX on black steelies.

if anyone has any information on what to do or how to continue at this point,
any help would be appreciated.

I work with your brother and heard about this yesterday. That really sucks, he's a good guy and doesn't deserve to have things like this happen to him at all. I hope the guys who stole from him use the jack to put the struts on a car and it falls off and pins them down for a day or two. Not killing or serious injury, just somehow makes them spend a long time stuck with nothing but their own mind to make them wonder about how they got where they are. I too have had my car broken into in that same lot.

Should also point out that he was missing one front strut that he sent back because they sent him one wrong one and that is also the reason why they were in his car instead of on it.

Parked my civic there for almost a year when I worked there, nothing ever happened.
