Which EK parts will fit a del Sol? Urgent!
Hey everyone.
I have an opportunity to buy a mint '94 Del Sol for a great price. Only 139,000km and never seen rain let alone snow. Although it is an automatic but that won't last long...
Not even 2 months ago I installed a while new suspension in my '96 EK coupe. I'm considering either selling the car as a whole or parting it out. If I part it I want to try to keep what I can.
Here's a list of the suspension parts. I've done some research already but nfortunately I'm limited by work, family and other issues and don't have the time to do all the necessary research so I ask those of you with much more knowledge than myself. I'll put in brackets what I know will fit unless someone corrects me. So... What will swap over?
- Skunk2 front camer kits (no)
- Megan Racing rear camber kits (yes)
- Blackworks Racing rear lower control arms (no - EK are thinner than EG)
- Blackworks Racing subframe brace (no)
- BEAKS Integra Type-R 22mm rear sway bar with OEM SiR (Si in US) end-links
- Skunk2 Pro-S V2 coilovers (10k front 7k rear) - (as per Skunk2 yes)
The coilovers I found are either yes or no. Some people say no and the Skunk2 website shows two different parts numbers. I've been told that the fronts should fit fine but the rears have a narrower mounting bracket in the EK than the EG because the EK rear lower control arm is narrower. But I emailed Skunk2 and the rep there said they are the same.
There are a few other non-suspension components I'll ask about in the other sections.
Thanks!!!

I don't know if its cuz its 8 am on a Saturday morning, or are you really asking questions you have answered already?
If you have written confirmation (via email) from a Skunk2 rep, why are you worried?
Parting out earns more cash.

Like I said, I did the research, but I want to make SURE that I have the parts that will fit. Last thing I need is to show up at the shop to get everything installed and find out that the parts won't fit when the car is in pieces. I just bought the whole suspension less than two months ago so it's all practically brand new and not cheap to replace. I'll sell what I have to and buy what needs to be bought.
But thanks for the input.

If the current ek rear coilovers have washers where it mounts to the lca then yes. Ek lcas are thinner thus the washers. Otherwise the coils are usually 92-00 other than you fill in the gap on ek with provided washers. I know some coil manufacturers are gen specific, thus you should just look to confirm for the washers.
Otherwise i think you are spot on.
Ps, rear lcas wont fit not because of thickness but because of the length difference.
