HID: How much on an 8th gen???
I'm planning on getting HID on my '06 Civic 2 door. Hopefully sooner than later. I have spent $100 on 2 sets of halogen bulbs but I need more light.
How much should I be paying for the HID installation??? Including all parts needed and installed. Who would do it best in Mississauga? Trying not to get robbed.
Thanks.

The kit of itself... http://www.torontocivics.com/f81/hid...3/#post1443500
I think their prices are more than reasonable... I've purchased a cheaper set off Ebay once, but with that said I waited about 4 weeks for delivery (Hong Kong) so yeah.
As for installation, this has got to be the simplest DIY, its literally plug and play, from the moment you open the package and hood to the second you close the hood, even a novice should complete this in NO MORE than 15 mins... You said you've changed your headlights already so I cant imagine you'd be lost doing this.

Actually, It was my mechanic who changed the halogen bulbs and he's no tuner. He doesn't like mods. He is good with regular repairs but I don't go to him for tuning or modifications. I will have to get someone else to install it for me. I don't want to ***** it up.

It doesn't get much easier.
If you still wish to take it somewhere, your regular mechanic should be able to do this no problem, its not so much a tune or mod as it is a simple... hmmm upgrade if you will. with the instructions above if you can't do the change, im sure your mechanic can.
cheers

Mission accomplished. 8K HID.
Got it done at Too Fast Motors. The installation took a while cause of the 8th gen front end design. But all is good.
Was going to get the 10K. But not sure how it looks. Does any one have it?
