Someone I know has entered a photo in a contest for the Best Engagement Photo of 2010. Instead of campaigning for votes like some people do on forums, just wanted to share the Facebook link for the enjoyment factor.

It might seem a bit girlie...but, if you have an appreciation of good photography, you might enjoy some of the pics that were entered by these talented photographers. So many of the pics are fantastic, although there are those that really stand out.

The winner was announced, it ended up being a person who was a prominent member/staff/owner of TCC (tuttigirl) and loved by a lot of people here.

It's true, Michael~!

There were so many pics that appealed to me, would be a difficult thing to judge. Thankfully (from what I was told by one of the other photographers), the winner was not chosen based solely on Facebook votes. If that were the case, it could easily turn into a popularity contest. There were really creative entries (the streetcar one, for example)...I'd imagine there were probably some incredible photos that didn't even qualify.

LoL, there are reasons for that, as "un-cool" as it may seem . The photog who originally was mentioned was an owner of this site previously, and was known by many of the members who used to be on here...they may have found it interesting to see her talent. (I think she actually won that contest~!)
