While driving in to work today I have seen a RHD Toyota Landcruiser. The car had ON plates (AZWL ...) and was going East on the 401. I was right behind the guy from Pearson Airport all the way to the Islington exit.

It was a clean looking Landcruiser. Looked wider than the ones we are accustomed to seeing here, and it had really wide tires. The car was silver in colour. Not sure if anyone has seen it.

I used to have a 87 Cressida ... loved that car, but it was just breaking down on me too often ... had to fix the tranny and replace the diff, both rear suspension arms had to be replaced and many other mechanical problems ... after the rear brakes started failing on me, sold it and bought the 99 EK HB ...
But i loved the cressida, the engine had over 400K and was still going strong when i sold it ... everything else was breaking down, but the engine was going strong ...

ive got a 90 corolla sedan, that im thinking about putting a c52 and 4age in... since coupes seem to be getting hard to get, ideally i'd love a fwd wagon though...awd ones are fun but not on the going fast aspect

It must have been hot as hell before and cool as **** now to make 100 degrees of difference.

My aquamist type setup on my jrsc b18c5 at 6psi with distilled water injection brought it down on the dyno from about 170 degrees tops to about 140.

Post up some pics or some info on this cooler u got.

Sounds like a nice little setup u got there!
theres wosca auto-x at fanshawe college in London tomorow (sept 27th) morning/afternoon u should come out.

It's an XS power water to air IC.

According to the data logs, the IAT's were hitting upwards of 260 degrees, after the water to air IC with a HUGE heat exchanger for the water, the IAT's now rarely exceed 120 degrees during dyno runs (about 4-6 runs, back to back during tuning) . During an autocross event, the data log showed IAT's of less than 100 degrees.

We like to call the stock air to air IC and "interwarmer" LOL.

We also now have full urethane bushings in the suspension, Koni yellow adjustable dampers, adjustable rear tie rods, all new ball joints, tie rod ends, and RA1 tires on light weight 15" rota rims.

The car is getting VERY quick. Still working on the setup, camber, tow etc...

We've been consistently finishing in the top 5 in our class and in the top 7 overall this season, and more recently in the top 3 of our class.

MR2's FTW!!!!

I'll post up pics when I get a chance.

Stock, they usually put down 120whp (not so spectacular). Last fall we dyno'd 130ish whp, then after a half hour of tuning (mostly just playing with the timing due to the fact that the innovative wide band 02 sensor module was toast and we were waiting for a replacement) we ended up adding +6 degrees up top and picked up 18 more whp.

After receiving the new innovative 02 module, we did some more tuning (just on the street) and picked up even more ponies, and better throttle response, which really helped for autocross.

Est right now we're sitting at approx 160whp. We have much more tuning to do as we are aiming for 180whp with our current setup. Next weekend we have some time booked on a dyno so we're just going to keep tuning for more power and more response.

So we did some more tuning on the dyno today. Got about 6-7 runs in. MR2 now makes 166whp and 165ft-lbs. up from 149whp and 145ft-lbs last year.

I'll post up the dyno sheet as soon as I can.

Here's the hp vs speed graph from yesterday. No torque on it cause the ignition signal was messed and it gave false values for torque (like 800...lol).
