Just saw this thread and decieded to lookup the price....retail for the trans w/ transfer case is $24995.00
By the way, the "launch control" that the gtr was designed with was never meant to be launch control. Nowhere was it ever advertised as launch control. Im leaving work now but ill see if i can shed more light tomorow. Ill look up the exact wording for it in the owners manual.

You really have no idea how insanely engineered and not just put together these cars are. Just because a couple of losers who dont know how to read an owners manual on a $90,000 car they just bought blew up there trannys does not mean that the car is any less of a supercar. What do you expect to happen when you launch a car with awd and 434 foot pounds at 4500rpm?

Perhaps Hyundai built the GTRs trans. Had a friend of mine, her trans went about 6 times in the course of 9 years.. Believe it or not, the rad blew more than 10 times! $100 replacement she pays every time, but gets the rad for free.

im pretty sure hyundai did build the tranny from what ive heard.

come on guys dont rip on nissan when we drive honda's. always remeber nissan motorsports is nismo... honda motorsports is homo (its a joke so dont flame me or try to band me) . and yes i have a civic b16a2 and yes i like honda. but every company out there is out to make money and we all know that kind of power can never be easy on a tranny. honda's are amazing car all around but im sure all of us can think about something they did wrong. to me its the (integra) way to heavy just my own opinion.
and to comment on the supra comment. those cars are way to heavy and thats why there not that popular in racing but drag. those engine's put down an amazing amount of horsepower. again i no ppl will flame me but calling out a automotive company is just plane wrong because every company is out to make money, and lots of it.

u can always find soemthing wrong with every car.supras are way to heavy for racing and to much power and u can barely hook them up. all tegs in my opinion are ugly but i do like the engines they come with thats about it.
