What is the gold coloured cylinder thing above rear fender ?

thats the flux capacitor for the turbo.

Looks like a frame slider maybe without the plastic in the end. Prevents it from getting scratched and the plastics cracking if it gets knocked over or dumped.

corection it is actually the nitrogen gas chamber for the shock.
