IMPORTEXPO x I LOVE HONDA - the cars

These are the pics i took from the I Love Honda event at Mosport... my pics of the girls are nsfw so I'm going to post them in another thread when they're done... this thread will only be for the cars. I took like 300 pics and lots of video so i'll be posting things all week. Also if you took pics post them here too...

I love that Defcon red civic. Defcon is still at it after 10-15yrs, i remember a car back then that was a blue EG with Orange mirrors. Forgot the guys name but i think it had a Defcon sticker or was it Ultimate. I really recommend you guys to that shop.

there were lots of ef's as dreamr can attest to and a few crx's but there were thousands of cars, i wasn't about to take pics of every one of them... plus i didn't make it the whole way down, i made it about as far as the stage area, the event was huge and packed pretty solid

3 ef civics and 1 crx,
thousands of cars no, hundreds yes
The event was very disorganized, and many affilate sponsors were not too pleased

Darknights, Importfest, you had people coming up from the USA to take part in the event...
Heck even the Chin Picnic car show/car audio audio show was awesome back in the late 1990's... There were so many import events & shows back in the that you couldnt keep up ! The best was May 2-4 and Victoria day and Labour day long weekends at Wasaga beach.

yah you guys are right, it was hundreds, not thousands of cars. i know my boy kept going up to ef's, checkin them out and taking ideas so it felt like there were more than 3... plus i only went about halfway down and stayed by where the track was for a while so i figured there were tons more around the bend, i just didn't care enough to walk down there. there was a lot i didn't see, but if u were there post pics. and yea i agree car shows used to be a lot better, hopefully there is some new blood infused and some new life...

This needs to evolve into a hybrid party/show. There was cops there anyway (I'm assuming), could have been sponsered by Captain Morgan and supplied a car with maybe a little concert or whatever.Oh well. Would have still been fun to have chilled with the crew.

No but I did enter a few 'First Episode' car shows hosted by sicc ryde.
I was into the Euro/BMW scene back in the 1990's and early 2000's (when I owned my 1989 M3) So we kinda stayed far away from the Jap import scene... lol
