I picked up a center console with an armrest for a 96-00 Civic. I have a 98 LX so the center console it came with is pretty much just a plastic cap with a hole for the e-brake. I want to install the armrest with the little cubby underneath it. So I got the original console out, slid the new console into place, and got the front screws on each side in.

Now...the original console only had those 2 screws, and then snapped down to the floor in the back. The armrest console has 2 screws near the back as well. But on my LX, there's nothing for them to screw into. So right now the console is just sitting on the hump in the floor, only screwed down at the front. I've attached a picture of it so you can see what I mean. There's just nothing to screw into lol. Any ideas? Help please?
