Shops that makes Custom Brackets

I have recently got some seats that comes with slider and brackets, that was supposed to fit my car. When i got them installed, the holes don't line up. ( 3 holes was rite, then one hole is not even close.) ( i told the seller that issue and his response was to use force and wiggle it in, in my opinion that is not safe). The seller pretty much that it wasn't his fault that it didn't fit even though during the transaction, i did asked if it would fit or not. So now my mechanic told me to get brackets made for these seat. But I don't know where to go, anyone has recommendations?. I don't want to spend too much money as the seats aren't that great. And I am not the type of person that would sell things to people knowing that it doesn't fit right.

So shoot me some recommendations please =]

How far off is that one hole? Could probably ream the hole a little and should line up. Then just use a washer to make sure the bolt doesn't fall through the hole.

Well if you don't want to go through the hassle of getting the brackets modified which could be a couple hundred bucks, you can just get a big washer, like 2" or so, and use it to cover the seat tab. In a crash it won't hold, but will with regular day to day driving. IMO its better then just not bolting it in at all, which I've seen my fair share of.

Had this same issue back few years ago when I installed 04 rsx seats in my 00 si. Had nice custom steel brackets made to make up for the holes not lining up... had them made buy a steel fabricator/artist out in Scarborough... having troubling remembering the guys name or his shops name...but if you look up the shop 'Safe & Sound' installation in scarb (viper alarm installation shop)...its on Nantucket road...the guys shop is right next door...crazy steel decorated door...can't miss it...
