I just had my exhaust swapped with the one i had from my sedan. Now, when i start the car there is a loud loud noise coming from the rear right, where the exhaust is.. its just the stock axle back that was changed, nothing else. The car almost vibrates. Also, when i shift gears the engine sounds louder than usual from the inside, but no change when revving at dead stop. Anyone know whats going on here? Did that sedan exhaust cause something?

The extra noise could be an exhaust leak. The vibrating could be the exhaust rubbling against something like the suspension or bumper maybe.

I used a sedan exhuast on the hatch, could that have been a problem?How woul the exhaust hit the body if it was just a bolt on?

hit and shake the exhaust. You'll see where its hitting.

ive noticed a small crack near the exhaust heat shield, near the shifter bushing, the u shaped bushing.. could that be it? also something is vibrating like crazy, its not the exhaust tho, and only happens in like 2nd gear and in lower rpms... it started after the exhaust rotted off and i replaced it hangers are all intact and are secure

check the heat sheilds on the manifold, and all around the exhaust pipe, i had a problem like that it was actually the muffler that was creating the vibrating sound.

just take it to a shop, u seem to be struggling with this

its probably around ur heat shield....
