Hey everyone. I have a 98 civic coupe with the stock d16y8, i have 2.25 inch header back ready to go on but the muffler it came with is a can style and i hate the raspy sounding rice and i don't want it too loud. I've heard about the itr muffler some people say its 2.25 but heard different sizes from different people and searched but couldn't get straight answers. also heard i could use one from an 08 si but not sure of the inet diameter on it either.
Anyone know for certain the inlets on these and is the canadian itr the same ? or does anyone know of a stock looking aftermarket that isn't raspy what so ever? I heard yokana is garbage they sound good but only for Bout a year?

Any one have any info? It probably seems like a dumb question, the only reason I even got the headerback is because my stock one was rusted out, and don't have funds right now for an oem replacement or to have a shop eat my wallet. Just put 1200 into suspention and brakes and got dicked around by the shop for about 3 weeks because they installed my shocks found out the rears were defective, and still installed them only for me to pay the bill and had to find out myself when I drove it home... any help would be greatly apreciated, thanks

I can't help you out with this...sorry...but, hopefully someone with greater tech savvy will chime in soon. We used to have quite a few knowledgeable people willing to help with questions, perhaps one of them might offer some assistance next time they're around.

thanks anyways, hopefully someone can figure it out because i live in a town where if you look under 50 and its dark out your getting pulled over. not too mention im 21 driving a two door lowered civic with a raspy exhaust lol

RS*R ExMag mufflers are the way to go if you can find a used one. Direct bolt on to OEM specs and full catback. Quiet like stock.
