Exhaust pipe diameter
my car doesnt have a cat on it anymore. previous owner took it off and just replaced it with a straight section of pipe. What would the OEM Honda exhaust pipe Diameter be? 2" or is it smaller then that? I wanna get a cat and weld it in. If i can get the proper size and just weld it in that would be better then having to get the reducers to make it fit.

Just get under the car and measure the pipe before and after the cat.

If you don't have a pair of calipers, use a typical screw-jack type c-clamp and measure that.

You can get the cats in different sizes, so as Mike said, measure the pipe pre/post cat. Then get a cat of same size.

OEM is usually 1.75" on Honda's

either 1.75" or 2.25"...not sure, it's been a while!

Yes, it is 2" inlet 2.25" OD, I just searched it.

1990 honda civic dx hatch (as his info says) is 2" inlet 2.25" OD
