very loud chirping noise that comes and goes

When i first start up the engine
it's really loud, it's like hearing a bird chirp
in your ear(hearing it in front of the car with the hood up)

it goes away in about 45 seconds or so
then when i'm just driving, it'd appear again when i'm accelerating from low to medium speed. Say from 20km/hr to 50km/hr

The sound seems to be coming from the belt area, and i have a starter with half burnt solenoid. What could be the problem?

problem lies with either your idler pullies or belts (honda belts rarely are the culprit though) use a long screwdriver as a stethoscope and try to find out which pully is making the squeeling.

it could be calming when you start up your car on a rainy day... close your eyes and just listen to the birds flying around... nice and peaceful

lol, thx y'all for the replies. I'll try the stethoscope method,
so where do i put the screw driver to? or.. while it's running
do i just suspend it in the air close to the pulley without actually touching it? and after i discover which pulley it is... is it inevitable
that i replace it or can i just simply lube it/adjust it?
and yes, my car does have ac,

thank you again for all your replies
