tire making loud noise...
i just put on my winter rims ,the bare black ones. I noticed now that when I drive I would hear a deep hollow spinning noise nothing that I heard before, sounds like it's coming from the front wheels. I just replaced my two front tires too. Wondering if this normal or maybe something wrong with the tires or something. It is noticeablw when I drive above 40k/m or so... when I slow down from high speeds I would jsut hear it spinning loudly until I come to a stop.

haha... the block tread is always way louder. what you are hearing is called tire noise. read some reviews on your brand and I'm sure you'll see a lot of complaints about on-road noise.
it's like a low deep hummmmmmmm

I have Michelin Atric Pilot tires and I have the same noise your talking about. This is normal. Also if you think somthing is wrong it could the tire weren't balanced properly when it was installed on the rim and or your alignment is off.
I hope this helps,

thanks for the replies,
I don't think it's the wheel bearings because it was fine just prior to me taking off my rims and putting on these winter ones. Wheel balance and alignment, my drive is smooth and straight so I'm pretty sure it's just those tires.
