help! reverse light not working!

there is a plug on top of the tranny rubber cover with two wires domin out of it. look for a set of wires you took off the auto tranny i guess to hook them up to. those wires will light up the reverse lights.

Problem solved!!
Originally on an auto setup, there is a part called the neutral switch. its located by the shifter assembly in the cabin. there's a plug with several wires connected, and one of those wire powers the reverse lights! Simply find that wire and hook it up to the reverse light switch on the manual tranny you have, and bingo!!!
you will have reverse lights!!! (Have the wiring diagrams ready)
Tip: you don't have to wire that signal wire from the neutral switch to the tranny in the engine compartment again. Just extend the wire from the reverse light switch on the tranny, and connect it to the plug where the auto shift was.
