Bogs Down

Bogs Down
I have noticed that while going down the freeway my car seems to bog down just long enough for me to notice then takes off again. What could be causing this?
It has also been getting so-so gas mileage and I have had just about everything replaced that I can.

Have had this car since 16799 miles.

I just ran a search, came up with this thread:
https://www.civicforumz.com/engine-5...putter-150088/
I don't know if it exactly applies to the issue you're having, but if not, perhaps you will know exactly what to try in the search feature. Someone will be able to address your issue, no doubt, but until then, doing a search might give you some ideas.

Confusing
Thank you.
It has never stalled. And it has basically had a tune-up as everything was replaced including the fuel filter. The sensor that tells the low gas light to come on was replaced too as it quit working.
That thread has a link for reading codes.. Can I just take it and have, say, Autozone, hook their computer to it to check for codes?
Also, If I put non-ethanol gas in it I do not notice the lag and the gas mileage goes up.
I have had this car forever and have always used Chevron without a problem. I know she is old but has always been taken care of and my mechanic just tells me that 26-28 mpg is normal and I must have been going down hill both ways with a tail wind to ever get 34-36 or more.
Thanks!

More harm than good?
My apologies if I added more questions than answers~! While waiting for some expert advice, I was hoping a search might be of some assistance. Just the same, maybe the additional info you gave will help one of our tech people more.
