I have a civic eg hb and i am planning to turbo this baby. It is automatic and i want to keep it automatic. I already have a k series eg for the track. I want to use this for automatic. The motor is fully built. The tranny is not built yet, but i heard level ten can build it or have parts for it. The problem is the tuning? Who can tune an automatic. I spoke to a few tuner and say is very hard to tune and is not worth it. Someone said i need to get a piggyback which is another ecu to tune for automatic. I would love to do this d series swap auto if anyone can help. I have a mechanic shop myself so doing it is not a problem. Any advice?

I think the more important issue is making sure the transmission can handle the extra power. The clutch packs and bands need to be upgraded as well as the torque converter. The transmission shifts according to engine load, so I'm not sure how that will affect the shift points.

This is one I don't have an answer for...lol. Good luck though.

It might be easier/less expensive to just get a manual car or swap to manual.

You have to find someone who modified torque converter. I'm running red eagle clutches, aftermarket torque converter and inline filter in my em2 with amsoil atf fluid.

You need to rebuild your auto with these clutches.
