D16z6 NoSpark
#2
Well I hope that you found a fix by now, especially if you were on the side of the road or something and not at home or a garage...
1st off, is the z6 a swap? you're name suggests so, make sure if so that none of the wiring involved has come loose/broken. Also check all your grounds. Also just to be certain, do you have a spare ecu? Even the stock one from the car? If so try swapping that in, guessing again that you've converted to OBD1 and a P28 ECU or similar, but a non VTEC ECU will run you're motor, not properly but it'll run. Only bother to try this is everything else looks good. If that works then you may have fried the ECU somehow so make sure EVERYTHING is solid with the harness and grounds first.
Also I'm sure it goes without saying but just in case, with all things electrical make sure your batt is good. A weak one might still crank the car over, but cause a ton of weird electrical issues.
