Is the engine still assembled right now? (can you run the engine?)

When you say oil pooling in the intake, can you be more specific? Is it pooling in the intake pipe between the air box and throttle body, or in the intake manifold?

Yes, the engine is fully assembled now and it can run. It actually runs great other than the smoke of course and my iac (really low or high idle) issue which i am going to fix that tomorrow...

The oil is pooling in the intake manifold itself, I can see it if I open up the butterfly on the throttle body. Not a whole bunch but enough to stump me on where the f it is coming from.

Try disconnecting all vacuum lines that run from the valve cover to the intake pipe. Run it like that and see if anything is coming out from the valve cover and see if it still smokes. (may have to burn off some of the oil already still in the intake manifold...).

Also, check this breather chamber/box: http://www.hondapartsnow.com/Page_Product/PartDetail.aspx?catalogID=13&productID=4&yearID=14 &doorID=4&gradeID=5&areaID=2&transmissionID=3&orig inID=-1&colorLabelIDs=-1&colorLabelID=-1&sectionID=1&idAndImageID=2061%20933239&isBigPict ure=False&pageName=Breather%20Chamber%20(1))

Try running the engine with that vacuum line disconnected. You may have to temporarily block the inlet on the intake mani or you'll have a big vacuum leak.

I don't know about cheaper but it was a lot easier and faster. If it were my own car I would have rebuilt the engine but it was the ole' lady's mom's car and she is very impatient/thinks the world revolves around her so I told her it would be in her best interest to replace the engine. That way I could get her car the hell out of my shop and get back to paying customer's vehicles that make me money!!!
