Honda Civic EX and Acura CSX 06-07

Im in the market for new car. Coming from the Maxima family im looking to get back into a civic. Ive had 1991 Maxima, 1995 Civic and a 1997 Maxima. So im used to the V6 gas guzzling speed of a maxima but i love the Luxary look and feel. I am giving up on these gas prices. So im looking at a Civic or CSX. The CSX cause is a entry luxary line. Im leading towards a CSX, my question is i notice that its 2.0 DOHC and a civic is 1.8 SOHC. When i go on the net i look at the MPG and they look the same, but 2.0 DOHC and civic 1.8 SOHC is a head scratcher. Do they really have the same fuel comsuption? I like the csx over the EX mainly the 4 wheel brakes, 350w stereo, leather and stuff. I dont care for the SI or TypeS either. thanks

Welcome to the forum.

In real life, the 1.8 will be better on gas than the 2.0. The difference in hp is 140 vs 160, I believe...
