if go to places like mr lube and all that then DIY is definetly worth it.. i wud do it but my mechanic usually does it for like an extra 2 dollars or w/e to wut i'd pay to do it myself lol.. plus he checks all of the suspension and underbody of the car if he isnt busy for free. 50 bucks for synthetic and 30 for regular...but good DIY!

for the pcv valve howocme u need to disconnect it after removing the oil fitler?

i just replaced the pcv valve since im already under the car. removing the pcv has no relation to changing oil.

-the pcv is a b**** to replace since you can only remove it if your under the car.

3.8 liters = .85 gallons

Isn't that a bit excessive?

Maybe its 3.8 quarts...

You're the 2nd person to use Liters , its QUARTS, do you know what a quart is?
And its not 3.3L - its 3.6L

Jesus, you guys cant even do a proper oil change even with a DIY, might as well dish out $50 to Quack Lube for generic oil and filters.
