I like Pittsburgh's chances even though they're a young team.. they got a taste of playoff's last year and I'm sure they'll come back hungrier... NYR's have a solid team too..... at least on paper...............

I think so...
still have IMO the strongest all around team in the west...
+ schnieder and burtuzzi are decent pick ups to strengthen their depth.

if neidermyer doesn't retire or comes back half way through the season lets say, then ya, they have a good shot

I'm liking Vancouver too actually

pre-season won't tell jack either... prolly most teams will play a lot of their farm team guys, and just watch, the Leafs will go like 8-0 in the pre-season and everyone will think it's their year

ya pre-season never means anything really, it's never the true team playing...but at least the teams get to try out the new guys who might not play regularly

I think they'd have a decent second line if Wellwood plays like he did last year... prolly Blake - Wellwood - Tucker ... that's if they keep the antropov - sundin - pony line in tact

how did the leafs do? the game was on Leafs TV right?

I need to find some sleepers for my pool I'm in this year... there's way too many teams to have a stacked team now...
