2011 HPF Edition Accord

I just finished building the new HPF edition Accord for my dealership. The car comes with a full lip kit sports suspension and the very nice HPF gunmetal rims. If you can manage to get your hands on 1 of the 200 being built its only $2000.

Thumbs down

How about the 3.7L in there with a revised exhaust, sway bars, springs, brakes and wheels. And hell maybe an LSD! All stock TL parts and they are all made in ohio in the same plant anyway.

2 grand is steep for that. you already have springs and shocks on the car, that cost is nearly negligeable, how much more to different wheels cost to make. Enkei makes them for honda in thailand (that's where my HFP's are made). So that is an increase of what couple bucks a wheel. And some painted polyeurethane, whoopie!!! This is pretty pathetic to have the word performance in it.

If honda wants to get into the performance game again they HAVE to give you more for a competitive price. The new Si is a piece of ****. Hell the whole civic line is shitty. (I've owned 6 civic of varying generations in my time so far). They are getting cheaper, the mechanics of the car are becoming inferior, and less reliable.

They are WAAAAY behind in motor technology. Smaller companies like Hyundai and Mazda have much better motors now. not marginal, MUCH better. Honda still doesn't have CVVT on intake and exhast cams (for twin cam motors), no direct injection, no fun! BMW has had throttle less motors for what 5 or 6 years now. It is becoming a bit of a joke.

This is the difference between letting loser accountants and dimwitted morons with MBA's run a company that should be run by engineers. Sure profits would be lower but the results would be extraordinary. We can all agree the automotive sector management is overpaid anyway.

Even though the car was made for fat assed yankees it is handsome. So I do give the designers points for that.
