Hey all,

Just got the wife a new coupe. Had the fogs installed by dealer. She's got the metallic grey paint, but the fogs are gloss black. Anybody know if that's right? Figured they'd be body colour.

Any ideas?

Actually Ive seen both. They are supposed to be body colour. The Si's that come standard with foglights have body colour surrounds. Now, Ive seen regular Civics with both and I think the black looks better. Maybe the technician thought so too or they just didnt have any that were grey.

Cool. Thanks for the reply! I don't think they look bad either. Just wanted to make sure we didn't get screwed by the dealer. Took them awhile to get them in stock... when they said they were when we bought the car.

I just got the wifey a 2010 EX-L coupe, and we're having the fog lights installed.

I asked if we could get them in white to match the body colour, but they only come in black. The Si's come standard with body colour matching fogs.

I'll just send them off to my body shop to have them sprayed to match... no biggie.

I would prefer them the same color as the body. Why? Because I like my cars to be understated and clean. I think if they were a different color they would almost look like an aftermarket add-on. What are your thoughts?
